Based on reports from Dealer Lounge members, Marineland LED lighting systems may be cheap and widely available, but the company has problems with customer service issues. Here is what one dealer told us:
“They have absolutely awful customer service. Why would we want to subject our customers to horrible service? Our customer service skills are what help us stand out against the competition. This affects us in two ways. First, 0ur customers lose trust in our suggestions and don’t buy as much. Second, when they return defective items to us, we will not be able to get them made up by Marineland, which costs us money and reduces our profitability.”
Poor customer service from manufacturers affects both dealers and their customers. I say support the companies that support you, even if it costs a little more.
